From street-food concepts to brain-food on-the-go, the team continuously monitors trends within the industry, ensuring that every event is brought to life through a perfectly crafted menu that surprises and delights guests.
Led by our inspirational Executive Head Chef Simon Hellier, the team can cater for anything from a small meeting for two up to a large-scale banquet for up to 3,000 covers at any one time. “We believe that just because we are delivering to large numbers the quality of food should never be compromised” says Simon, “our catering really helps us stand out from competition and that is consistently recognised through client feedback”.
The key to the delivery of a smooth running large-scale service is having an organised schedule of timings to be followed by all staff. “Everyone involved needs to understand what the end result looks like in practical terms, but also what success looks like for the client”.
However, whilst Simon is very keen on strict schedules, when it comes to creativity of menus he works very much in partnership with clients. “We want every event to be a truly special occasion so we also provide clients’ with flexible upgrade options such as wine pairing, along with other pioneering alternatives such as molecular cocktails for a drinks reception, or a live chefs theatre where our chefs can cook and prepare dishes in front of guests, during the event.”
It goes without saying that each menu encompasses Simon’s purist values around food provenance, “Our philosophy is British provenance infused with international cuisine using modern cooking techniques. The ICC and Vox teams work hard to lovingly prepare fabulous tasting and visually stunning dishes and this is only possible because we have the best food ingredients in our kitchens. Whether it’s the dishes themselves or the excellent service, we never compromise on quality.”
